Hadith of the Day

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:”Whoever performs wudu’ and does it well, then sets out for the Masjid and finds that the people have already prayed, Allah will decree for him a reward like that of those who attended (the prayer), without reducing the slightest from their reward.”

(Sunan an-Nasa’I, Vol. 1, Book 10, Hadith 79)

I learned that this was a masjid from the time of ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattab, wallahu Alim. Subhan’Allah, to witness something from its original state during the time of the caliphate is monumental. Ya Madinah, how I miss you soooo…
